BRADLEY MYER
is the Managing Director of Indigena and Director of parent company Kaitiaki o te Ngahere. Brad has a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln University. He is a Registered Chemical Applicator — this is the highest qualification available in New Zealand for the application of agrichemicals. Brad has been working in the field of ecological restoration and biosecurity for 18 years and has spent 2 field seasons on South Georgia leading the operational delivery on the ground. Brad co-authored the South Georgia Non-Native Plant Management Strategy 2016—2020 with Kelvin Floyd and Dr Jennifer Lee. KELVIN FLOYD
holds a Post Graduate Diploma and a Bachelor of Parks and Recreation Management from Lincoln University. He has worked in the field of weed management for more than 20 years. He is an industry leader with unparalleled experience in managing large spatial datasets and relating this to Geographical Information Systems software. Kelvin builds databases and has been involved in conservation projects around the world, where his application of information technology and GIS is highly valued. A commitment to further development and innovation with regard to information technology is part of the service provided by Indigena. |
SALLY PONCET
has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tasmania and has been managing field personnel and carrying out field research projects including complex eradication programmes in the Falklands and South Georgia since 1977. Sally has written scientific publications, articles and books about South Georgia, including A Visitor's Guide to South Georgia, Wild Guides (Princeton University Press). Sally was awarded the Polar Medal in 2015. |
